Psalm 42:5
‘Why are you downcast, O my soul? Why the unease within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise Him for the salvation of His presence.’
- In life it is easy to become discouraged and anxious.
- But we have a strategy for when these emotions try to overwhelm us.
- We stop, we speak to our souls, and we instruct our hearts to hope in God.
- We have this promise that we will have reason again to praise Him.
Let’s Pray…
Lord, I choose to put my hope and confidence in You. I will not entertain discouragement, doubt and fear, but I will trust You with the full expectation that I will see Your goodness.
