Authority and Power under Submission
James 4:7
‘Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.’
The safest place to be is under the mighty hand of God.
When we submit to Him, He gives us the authority to resist the enemy.
The promise is that the enemy will flee and we will be free.
Under these conditions, the sky is the limit.
Let’s Pray…
Lord, today I take a moment to submit my life to You. You are my God and I will trust in You. Now I resist the enemy and I take a complete stand against him. As You promised, he now flees, and I am free to be all that You intended me to be.
In Jesus’ Name,
Amen.
God is in your corner!
Exodus 23:22b
‘I will be an enemy to your enemies and will oppose those who oppose you.’
How great it is to know that God wants to stand with us.
As we listen and obey Him, He contends with those who contend with us.
You can know that God is in your corner as you endeavour to follow Him.
Don’t fight in your own strength, He is your defender.
Let’s Pray…
Lord, I am so blessed to know that You are my defender. I choose to listen and follow Your voice and I trust that every battle I face is already in Your hands.
