Songs of Praise 2026 – An Afternoon of Glorious Music and Worship

The Dutch Reformed Church, Queenswood in Pretoria warmly invites you to Songs of Praise 2026, a truly special musical celebration taking place in the heart of the Moot community.

Renowned conductor Mr. Richard Cock will lead a powerful mass choir of approximately 80 singers, drawn from local community choirs, in an inspiring program of choral and vocal works. The afternoon will also feature several accomplished soloists, the distinguished organist Prof Theo van Wyk, and a 15-piece orchestra, promising a rich and uplifting musical experience.

The program will showcase a selection of beautiful choral work, expressive vocal solos, and magnificent organ solos performed by Prof Van Wyk, creating a varied and moving concert that celebrates music, faith, and community.

The concert will take place from 15:00 to 17:00, offering a festive and enriching afternoon of song and instrumental brilliance.
