Joy, Prayer and Thankfulness
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
‘Rejoice at all times. Pray without ceasing. Give thanks in every circumstance…’
The way to a victorious life is to apply these principles to our lives.
Choose joy, never stop believing and praying and be thankful.
As we do this, it shifts the dynamic in our lives.
This sets us up for God to work in our lives and do miracles on our behalf.
Let’s Pray…
Lord, instead of being discouraged, I choose to be joyful. Instead of doubting Your faithfulness, I choose to pray and call on You. Instead of complaining, I choose to be thankful, because You are with me and nothing is too difficult for You.

Isaiah 61:3 NLT
‘He will give a crown of beauty for ashes, a joyous blessing instead of mourning, festive praise instead of despair.’
The Lord wants to come and turn things around in your life.
He can exchange ashes for beauty, sadness for joy and despair for hope.
He can take our difficult past and turn it into something beautiful.
There is nothing that He cannot restore.
Let’s Pray…
Lord, thank You that You are the God Who can restore and turn things around. I realise that I can trust You with the things that I have been through because I know that You can do great things in my life.
