Open the Eyes of my Heart

2 Kings 6:16
‘Do not be afraid,’ Elisha answered, ‘for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.’

Sometimes life can seem tumultuous and even overwhelming.
It’s at times like these that we can lose perspective and think that we are done for.
If we could catch a glimpse of God’s perspective, we would see things differently.
Remember, if God is for you, who can be against you?

Let’s Pray…
Lord, open the eyes of my heart so that I can see things from Your perspective. Help me to grasp that because You are with me, I do not need to fear. May I understand that because You are by my side, I am part of the winning outcome.

In Jesus’ Name,
Amen.

Behind and Before

Psalm 139:5
‘You hem me in behind and before; You have laid Your hand upon me.’

Every aspect of your life has the touch of God on it.
He knows about your past and how you came to this point.
He knows about your future and the plans He has for you.
And right here and now, His hand is upon you, to see you through.

Let’s Pray…
Lord, thank You for Your hand on my life. Thank You for Your faithfulness in the past, Your promise of a hope and a future for my tomorrows and for the knowledge that You are with me today.

In Jesus’ Name,
Amen.
