Friendship with the Father

John 15:15
‘I no longer call you servants…, Instead I have called you friends…’

Years ago we used to sing a song: ‘I am a friend of God!’
Recognise that as His child you can be called His friend.
Friends are people who can help, encourage and strengthen us.
This is what the Lord wants to come and do for you.

Let’s Pray…
Lord, thank You that I am no longer a servant or a slave, but I am Your child and I can know the joy of friendship with You. May I never forget that even when I am alone, You are still there with me.

In Jesus’ Name,
Amen.

Be Strong and Courageous

Deuteronomy 31:6
‘Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you.’

Just knowing that God is with you gives you a reason to be courageous.
Be strong and courageous, your God is with you!
Don’t let fear, doubt or panic grip your heart and mind.
He will never leave you and you can hold on to this wonderful truth.

Let’s Pray…
Lord, I choose to be strong and courageous because You are with me. I reject fear, panic, worry and dread, because I know that You will carry me and bring me through every challenging situation and every difficult circumstance.

In Jesus’ Name,
Amen.
