Courageous and Bold
Joshua 1:9
‘Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you.’
Each day of life we are called upon to be strong and courageous.
Each day brings its own challenges and therefore we need His strength.
Fear and anxiety rob us of the joy of trusting God to be with us.
Trust in the promise that He gives you when it says: ‘He will be with you!’
Let’s Pray…
Lord, open the eyes of my heart so that I can know that You are with me and that I don’t need to be fearful or discouraged. You are with me, and therefore I can be strong, courageous and bold.

Surrender your Independence
Proverbs 16:3
‘Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and He will establish your plans.’
We need to live in dependence on God and entrust what we do to Him.
When we commit what we do to God, we are declaring our reliance on Him.
You can trust in the Lord to lead and guide you.
You can trust in the Lord to give you His favour and help you to succeed.
Let’s Pray…
Lord, You know the thoughts and plans that I have. I realise that in my own wisdom I can make mistakes, so I submit and commit my plans to You. In Your time and in Your way I trust for Your favour and blessing as I move forward.
