The Lord’s Protection and Favour
Genesis 35:5 NLT
‘As they set out, a terror from God spread over the people in all the towns of that area, so no one attacked Jacob’s family.’
Jacob’s family experienced divine protection from God.
As you follow God, you can trust for His divine protection over your life.
You can live under the shadow of the Almighty.
You can know that the Lord is your Refuge and Fortress.
Let’s Pray…
Lord, as I step out into this new day and this new week, I pray that Your hand of protection will cover me and my family. May we know what it means to live under Your divine protection and care.
In Jesus’ Name,
Amen.
Assurance in being known
1 Timothy 4:10
‘…we have put our hope in the living God, Who is the Saviour of all people, and especially of those who believe.’
How awesome it is that we can put our hope in the Living God.
He is the One Who steps in to bring hope and salvation to all people.
He does this because each person is valuable and special to Him.
As His child and one who ‘believes’ it is especially true for YOU.
Let’s Pray…
Lord, today I once again place my hope and confidence in You, my Lord and my God. I believe in You, and therefore I have hope and the assurance that You care for me and that You will carry and sustain me.
