Isaiah 9:6
‘For to us a child is born, to us a son is given. He will be called Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.’
- It is time for us to celebrate the greatest gift of all.
- God’s Son, the greatest gift, was everything we would ever need.
- He is the Wonderful One and the Counsellor we need each day.
- He is your Mighty and Everlasting God and Father and He is your peace.
Let’s Pray…
Lord, thank You that I can take this moment to thank You for coming to live with us. That moment, when You came and dwelt among mankind, has changed us. We are different because Your presence has touched our lives. Thank You.

Rejoice in God
Luke 1:46 – 47
Mary said, ‘My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Saviour.’
- Mary recognised the greatness of what was about to happen.
- In that moment she allowed her soul to magnify the Lord and to see His greatness.
- It was a moment when her spirit rejoiced in God her Saviour.
- Let your soul and your spirit be filled with His glory, and start rejoicing.
Let’s Pray…
Lord, as I think about Your coming and Your birth, my soul is thrilled and my spirit is rejoicing. You came so that I could experience Your presence in my life. Fill my life with the knowledge of Your greatness and of Your lovingkindness towards me.
