Release!

Acts 16:26
‘Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everyone’s chains came loose.’

  • The Lord is able to turn things around suddenly.
  • Even in the darkest moments, He can step in and turn things around.
  • Chains and closed doors are no challenge to Him.
  • Give Him the right of way to shake things and to change things for the good.

Let’s Pray…
Lord, bars of bronze and chains or iron are no hindrance to what You want to do. I pray that You will come and break down the gates, remove the strongholds and bring the release that You have prepared for me.

In Jesus’ Name,
Amen.

My Confidence

Psalm 42:5
‘Why are you downcast, O my soul? Why the unease within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise Him for the salvation of His presence.’

  • In life it is easy to become discouraged and anxious.
  • But we have a strategy for when these emotions try to overwhelm us.
  • We stop, we speak to our souls, and we instruct our hearts to hope in God.
  • We have this promise that we will have reason again to praise Him.

Let’s Pray…
Lord, I choose to put my hope and confidence in You. I will not entertain discouragement, doubt and fear, but I will trust You with the full expectation that I will see Your goodness.

In Jesus’ Name,
Amen.
