My Helper

Hebrews 13:6
So we say with confidence, ‘The Lord is my Helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?’

  • A helper is someone who assists us and meets a real need in our lives.
  • The Lord is your Helper and He wants to bring the right help at the right time.
  • He comes alongside you to help you do what you could not do for yourself.
  • You do not need to fear, because the Almighty God is your Helper.

Let’s Pray…
Lord, thank You that I can say with confidence that You are my Helper. You have helped us in the past and in Your faithfulness, You will continue to be my Helper, no matter what the future holds.

In Jesus’ Name,
Amen.

My Fortress

Psalm 27:1
‘The LORD is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble?’

  • A fortress is a large, secure and safe place where we can find safety.
  • This is what the Lord wants to be for you.
  • It is in Him that we find the protection we need in our lives.
  • When the Lord is our safe place, we can go to Him and not be fearful.

Let’s Pray…
Lord, I run to You, my fortress, so that I can know the security that only You can give me. I will not be fearful or tremble because You are with me and You offer me the security and protection I need.

In Jesus’ Name,
Amen.
