Steadfast in Prayer
Luke 18:1
‘Then Jesus told them a parable about their need to pray at all times and not lose heart.’
- We should never give up on prayer in our lives.
- Things may not seem to be changing, but God is working.
- He will surely give justice to His people who cry out to Him day and night.
- Have confidence in the Lord your God, pray and do not lose heart.
Let’s Pray…
Lord, You know my every prayer, petition, longing and the deep desires in my heart. I call out to You and I bring these things to Your feet. I believe in You, I have faith that You will work all things out for my good.
In Jesus’ Name,
Amen.
His Gracious Character
Isaiah 30:18
‘Therefore the LORD waits [expectantly] and longs to be gracious to you.’
- Never doubt the Lord’s goodness and lovingkindness toward you.
- It is part of His character to be gracious and kind.
- Expect His goodness, expect His mercy and expect His faithfulness.
- The last word has not been spoken, God will have the final say.
Let’s Pray…
Lord, thank You for Your great love and kindness towards me. My heart will remain filled with hope and expectation that I will see Your goodness in the land of the living.
