Word for the day

Matthew 2:9
‘The wise men went their way. And the star they had seen in the east guided them to Bethlehem. It went ahead of them and stopped over the place where the Child was.’

• The Lord wants to lead and guide you and bring you to Himself.
• Jesus is the guiding light on the voyage of life.
• Today, He is calling to you and drawing you back to His presence.
• We celebrate His birth, and we remind ourselves of His presence in our lives.

Let’s Pray…
Lord, thank You that You are calling me to a closer relationship with Yourself. You are the One I long for and You are the One I need. May Your presence be an ever-increasing reality in my life.

Matthew 2:2
‘Where is the One Who has been born King of the Jews? We saw His star when it rose and have come to worship Him.’

• The Wise Men saw the signs and realised that something great had happened.
• We can also remember and recognise the great gift we received.
• The result was that they pursued Jesus and went in search of Him.
• We can also desire to know Him personally and to worship Him.

Let’s Pray…
Lord, here I am to worship, here I am to bow down, here I am to say that You’re my God. You are the altogether wonderful One and I desire to know You more clearly and love You more dearly.
