Anticipate God’s favour

Psalm 112:7 NLT
‘They do not fear bad news; they confidently trust the LORD to care for them.’

  • Often we spend too much time expecting the worst.
  • Instead of being fearful, we should anticipate God’s favour.
  • You should live with the expectation that He will take care of you.
  • When you see things from this perspective, it changes your outlook.

Let’s Pray…
Lord, help me to not dwell on the negatives or on how things could go wrong. Rather, help me to be confident enough to know that Your love and care for me will see me through and that I will see Your goodness and kindness towards me.

In Jesus’ Name,
Amen.

He has given me victory

Isaiah 12:2b NLT
‘The LORD God is my strength and my song; He has given me victory.’

  • Your ultimate source of strength is the Lord your God.
  • Our strength can only take us so far, and then we need His strength.
  • His strength gives you the power to overcome challenges and difficulties.
  • Victory belongs to the Lord and He wants to give it to you.

Let’s Pray…
Lord, Thank You that I can find my strength and my joy in You. Despite what I may be facing, I know that You are strengthening me each and every day. I receive the victory that You have promised and I know that You will lead me to victory.

In Jesus’ Name,
Amen.
