Confidently place your trust in Him
Isaiah 12:2a NLT
‘See, God has come to save me. I will trust in Him and not be afraid.’
- The Lord is your salvation – He has come to save you.
- His saving power is part of His unfailing love and care for you.
- As a result you can confidently place your trust in Him.
- He is your strength and protection, so you do not need to be afraid.
Let’s Pray…
Lord, thank You that You are the One who undertakes to step into my life and to be my salvation – the One who saves me. I choose to place my trust in You and I choose faith over fear.
In Jesus’ Name,
Amen.
Fix your mind on the Lord and His strength
Isaiah 26:3 NLB
‘You will keep in perfect peace ALL who trust in You, all whose thoughts are fixed on You!’
- Our thoughts and our minds need to be fixed on the Lord.
- When we focus on the troubles around us, it makes us weak.
- Make the decision to keep thinking about the Lord and His strength.
- As you do this, you are trusting Him, and He will bring peace into your life.
Let’s Pray…
Lord, I choose to focus my thoughts on how faithful and how wonderful You are. I do not want to be pulled down by negative thoughts and negative thinking. So, I fix my thoughts on You and I trust You to come and fill my life with Your peace.
In Jesus’ Name,
Amen.
