Take Courage
Matthew 14:27
But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, ‘Take courage, it is I; do not be afraid.’
- How reassuring it is to hear these words spoken by our Lord.
- Life has a way of giving us so much to be worried and anxious about.
- But in the midst of it we hear these words: ‘Take courage, it is I; do not be afraid.’
- Take heart, don’t worry and be courageous, because He is with you.
Let’s Pray…
Lord, when You spoke these words to Your disciples they were afraid. Your words brought them comfort and strength. Today I receive these same words into my heart and I am also strengthened and reassured because You are the same, yesterday, today and forever.
In Jesus’ Name,

Pursue Him
Acts 20:24 NLT
‘But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord…’
- The greatest fulfilment in life comes from doing what we were created to do.
- When we align ourselves with God’s will and purpose, it brings meaning to our lives.
- Only one life, it will soon be past, and only what’s done for Christ will last.
- Let us do what honours God and let’s pursue Him – it will be worth it.

Lord, thank You that I can put You first in my life. My heart’s desire is to do those things that You would have me do. May my life bring glory and honour to You in all I say and do.
