Pause of Appreciation

Psalm 16:6 (Amplified Bible)
‘The lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; indeed, my heritage is beautiful to me.’

Sometimes we need to pause and appreciate what God has done for us.
We can take a moment to rejoice and be thankful.
Perhaps you can ‘count your blessings and name them one by one.’
When you do this, it will surprise you what the Lord has done.

Let’s Pray…
Lord, today I choose to count my blessings and to remind myself of what You have done for me. At the same time I know I can trust You with my future and my hopes and dreams.

In Jesus’ Name,
Amen.

Depend, Rely and Rest

Isaiah 46:4b
‘I have made you, and I will carry you; I will sustain you and deliver you.’

The Lord Himself will carry you.
Sometimes we just need our Good Shepherd to lift us up.
He knows what you need and how to provide it.
Depend on Him, rely on Him and rest in Him.

Let’s Pray…
Lord, how awesome it is to know that You put me together in my mother’s womb. You know every aspect of my life and You faithfully undertake to carry, sustain and deliver me.

In Jesus’ Name,
Amen.
