His Pain For Our Restoration

Isaiah 53:5
‘He was pierced for our transgressions…and by His wounds we are healed.’

At this time of the year we remember the great price that Jesus paid.
His suffering was not in vain – it was for our healing and restoration.
This is a time to reflect, draw closer to God, and prepare our hearts.
His love was demonstrated long before we fully understood it.

Let’s Pray…
Lord, as I prepare my heart, remind me of the great love You showed through Your Son, Jesus. Draw me closer to You and help me to reflect on all He has done for me.

In Jesus’ Name,
Amen.

Rightful Provider

Psalm 123:2
‘Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their masters… So our eyes look to the LORD our God…’

This verse encourages us to trust and rely on God completely.
Look to Him for your provision, protection and direction.
When our eyes are on the Lord, we can live with expectation and hope.
Fix your eyes on Him – He will show you mercy.

Let’s Pray…
Lord, thank You that I don’t need to look to the hand of my masters, but I can look to You, the Giver of every good and perfect gift. My eyes and my heart is fixed on You, my Lord and my God.

In Jesus’ Name,
Amen.
